How to compile Java program by command prompt.

If you have written java code and you want to compile java program by command prompt, then you get mind how to compile my java code?? Let's tell you that how to compile code..

If you have written java source code in "Notepad" then.. follow steps:


Step :1 Firstly you have to set path of "jdk (java)" you can see my other post the how to path set.

Step :2 Then open "COMMAND PROMPT".

Step :3 Then go to the drive and folder where your source code stored something like this picture below..

 Step :4 If you dont know that how to do it?? then check below steps:

 Step : 4.1- Firstly type your drive where your code stored something like this "J" drive
then type-  j and ":" then enter.

Step: 4.2- Then type your folder where your source in folder if your folder like "temp5" it is a folder name the type cd command type "cd" space your folder name like "temp5" then enter.

Step : 5 Then you will go in like this J:\temp5>.

Step : 6 Then type javac is compiler of java, c mean's compiler.
Step : 7  Then type like this "J:\temp5>javac yourFilename.java" then enter your code will compiled if not error in your code.
Step : 8 Then run your program type "J:\temp5>java yourFilename" then enter your program will be run on your desktop. See in pictures for better learn.
